During November 2017, the Melbourne Metro Rail Authority (MMRA) asked the community and a range of other stakeholders to provide feedback on preliminary plans for the proposed new Toolern (Cobblebank) train station to help guide the planning and design outcomes.
Today, the MMRA released a report providing a summary of the feedback received as part of the community consultation process.
Top of the list were issues relating to traffic and transport, followed closely by safety. The full report can be found here.
The MMRA have restated that the station is still planned to be taking passengers from late next year, subject to planning approval, and will be located near Ferris Road - within walking distance of Ambervue.
